foodpanda brought its “We Gotchu” advocacy to Cebu through the Christmas PANDAriwang, an outreach initiative focused on delivering holiday comfort to patients and frontliners. Held at Cebu City Medical Center, the activity mobilized foodpanda volunteers and riders to distribute fruit baskets and hundreds of ready-to-eat meals across several wards. Young patients were also given special plushie gifts designed to uplift their spirits during their hospital stay.
To acknowledge the tireless work of healthcare workers, foodpanda extended the effort to doctors, nurses, and support staff by providing warm meals as a gesture of appreciation. Pau-Pau, the brand’s well-loved mascot, joined volunteers on a room-to-room visit, further enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.
According to Patricia Jacinto, Director for Growth and Marketing at foodpanda Philippines, the initiative underscores the company’s longstanding commitment to community support. “PANDAriwang reflects our promise to be present for Filipinos, especially during the holidays. We aim to bring joy and care to those who need it most.”
The Cebu outreach is part of a broader series of holiday efforts as foodpanda continues to extend support to various communities nationwide.
