Service has always been at the heart of Cebu Parklane International Hotel. Beyond welcoming

On July 4, Cebu Parklane International Hotel, through Parklane Cares, successfully conducted
a Community Medical Mission at Barrio Luz Elementary School, providing free healthcare
and essential services to more than 500 beneficiaries from its partner community, Barangay
Luz.
The medical mission was made possible through the proceeds of the recently concluded 13th
edition of Hunat Sugbu, the hotel's annual charity fun run inspired by the legacy of its late
patriarch, Manuel Ting. For over a decade, Hunat Sugbu has united runners, partners,
sponsors, and volunteers with one shared purpose—to transform every step taken during the
race into meaningful support for communities in need.
This year's beneficiaries received a wide range of free services, including:

● Dental Checkup and Simple Tooth Extraction
● Minor Surgery (Tuli and Cyst Removal)
● Blood Typing
● Blood Sugar Testing
● Eye Checkup
● Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy

● Pharmacy Services
● Mental Health Awareness and Counseling
The initiative brought together volunteer doctors, dentists, therapists, legal professionals,
pharmacists, dedicated volunteers from partner organizations, government agencies, and civic
groups who generously shared their expertise and time to serve the community.
More than providing free medical assistance, the activity reflected Cebu Parklane's enduring
belief that hospitality extends beyond the walls of the hotel. It is about caring for people, uplifting
lives, and strengthening the communities that have become part of the hotel's journey.
As Cebu Parklane International Hotel celebrates its 20th year in the hospitality industry, the
